Community Guidelines
The Academy Self-Study Courses Telegram thread is a beautiful opportunity to experience a unique community of women in celebration of their magic, power, and love.
Below are some guidelines for you to consider and some values we hold as a community.
1. Self-celebration and self-love
There is no victory too small and no aspect of yourself too outrageous or too humble to be celebrated in our world.
Being able to celebrate the smallest victory loud and proud is an essential part of our learning philosophy. You will be encouraged over and over again to share without fear of being a “show off” or worrying they your joy is about something too outrageous or too small.
2. Framing
We adhere to a system of reflecting back the light of another woman with a practice called framing.
We use frames to capture moments that moved us or made us feel alive - free of any intellectual analysis or backstory. Framing is specific, rich in sensory detail, and grounded in a specific moment in time.
Frames are an offering. In framing, everyone shares the moment that made them feel most alive from what was experienced together.
3. Confidentiality
Everything posted in these threads is confidential.
In the spirit of this community, we do not just agree to passively protect each other’s privacy. We encourage you to actively consider yourself a guardian who passionately protects your fellow students’ private feelings, deep experiences, and secrets.
